In this session, our speaker will introduce a Technical Oil Recovery Module to allow recovery of oil in the mixed liquor of empty fruit bunch (EFB) juice liquor, sterilizer condensate or POME, to enable the segregation of Technical Palm Oil from edible crude palm oil for better food safety and profitability.

Session II - Improve sustainability in palm oil mills by reducing Particulate Matter (PM) in flue gas
In this session, our expert will introduce you a reliable and affordable Alfa Laval Multiscrubber System to control the Particulate Matter (PM) in the emission and highlights on the trends and challenges of air pollution control in Palm Oil Mill.

Ong Toon Wei graduated from University of Technology, Malaysia in Chemical Engineering and he also holds an MBA from University of Strathclyde. He has been with Alfa Laval for 12 years, and he is an expert in palm oil technologies and processes.

Sellam Hmadouch received his Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, Netherlands. He is responsible for industrial air emission control markets for gas systems and has been with Alfa Laval for 3 years. Having developed new air emission control solutions and with more than a decade of experience in the industry, he is actively developing solutions to further improve air quality for the palm oil mill industry.
